ASCA Contract Instructor
Alberta School Councils’ Association (ASCA) advocates in Alberta’s education system on behalf of parents, and assists with the development of school councils.
ASCA Vision: A respected and empowered school council in every Alberta school.
To help realize this vision, ASCA is inviting applications for the position of Contract Instructor to be filled immediately.
As a Learning Opportunity presenter, a Contract Instructor is a knowledgeable resource to school councils regarding school councils’ role and responsibility in the school community and the education system.
Successful applicants will work with ASCA staff to deliver quality, informative Learning Opportunities using ASCA materials and curriculum designed to help school councils and school divisions achieve their objectives.
Applicants for this position must be;
- Flexible with their schedule as Learning Opportunities may be delivered on weekdays (during the day or evenings) or Saturdays
- Available to work with school councils, school divisions, and/or fundraising associations two to five times a month during the school year
- Experienced with school councils and familiar with fundraising associations tied to the school
Applicants must be available for training with a seasoned Instructor (within 30 days).
Remuneration will be discussed at interviews.
