Office Assistance - Part time

Are you a flexible, energetic person experienced with school councils and fundraising associations?

We are seeking a well-rounded assistant for our busy provincial office in Edmonton. Approximately 20 to 28 hours per week, with a flexible schedule.

Superior customer service, attention to detail, organizational and time management skills in a team setting are required.

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office – word, power point, excel, outlook and access is desirable, along with exemplary oral and written communication skills.

Duties encompass computer file management, data tracking, reports, document editing, correspondence and communications via email, telephone and social media.

Familiarity with organizational procedures and policy-making, bookkeeping, not for profit governance, and/or human resources would be additional assets for consideration.

Knowledge of the Alberta School Act, School Councils Regulation and the Alberta Societies Act is beneficial.

ASCA Field Instructor

Are you a dynamic individual with a passion for sharing information about the work of school councils in Alberta?

We currently have openings for contract Field Instructors across Alberta. The position(s) involve delivering training workshops to school communities – in the evenings, daytime and/or Saturdays. Travel is required. Expenses are reimbursed, and set rates of pay, with a contract commitment.

Full training, professional development, presentation materials and administrative support is provided.

Confident with a working knowledge of school councils and fundraising associations is required.
