On May 6, 2025, Kindy Joseph, Assistant Deputy Minister, Education shared some implementation support materials for the changes to the Education Act which will come into effect on September 1, 2025. These changes apply to all school authorities in Alberta, including public, separate, francophone, charter and independent (private) schools.
