Election day is Monday, October 18, 2021

Municipal elections are scheduled to be held in Alberta, on October 18, 2021. Chief elected officials (mayors or reeves) and councillors (or aldermen), are up for election in all cities (except Lloydminster), towns, villages, specialized municipalities, and municipal districts, as are trustees for public and separate school divisions. There will also be a province-wide vote on equalization and Daylight Saving Time.

Albertans vote for their school board trustees as part of the municipal general elections. A general election takes place every four years.

The Senate Election will take place on October 18, 2021, in conjunction with the 2021 Alberta Municipal Elections and Referendum Vote.
