Budget 2012 ... ASCA appreciates the Minister recognizing the input of parents, and providing stability for Education funding.
A very positive budget – it proves the priority of Education in Alberta, with an increase in funding and provides predictability with a 3 year plan.
Increased grants and flexibility for School Boards offers opportunity for parents to work with their Boards to ensure dollars are best spent to support student learning.
ASCA is pleased that the Minister is listening to parents and recognizing their role in the education system.
