Public and stakeholder satisfaction with the quality of education remains high.

The five-year high school completion rate improved to 82.1 per cent from 81.7 per cent the previous year, while the three-year high school completion rate increased significantly to 76.4 per cent (as compared to 74.9 per cent last year).
More work needs to be done to close the achievement gap for First Nations, Métis and Inuit (FNMI) students. The dropout rate for FNMI students is 8 per cent, which is more than twice the rate for all students in the province (3.4 per cent).
