Information Sharing Strategy
November 4, 2014
The new Information Sharing Strategy (ISS)
E-Learning Series is now available on the Alberta Government website.
This important new resource is intended to support our education partners and our ministry to more effectively and appropriately share personal and private information as envisioned by the Information Sharing Strategy.
The online training series is available to all Albertans and is a common training tool being used by Education, Health and Human Services.
It supports government’s commitment to ensuring that information sharing practices support the best decisions possible for the health, education and safety of Alberta children and families.
The training includes three modules and each takes about 45 minutes to complete:
1. Information Sharing
2. Information Sharing under the Children First Act
3. Information Sharing in Practice
We have also created supporting resources, which can be used on their own or as part of the training. To take the training and to access the resources, please visit the Information Sharing Strategy website and click on Courses & training.
