This will be the second annual gathering, co-hosted by the College of Alberta School Superintendents (CASS) and Alberta Education, that will bring together all the education partners in Alberta. The target audience represents the diverse planning committee and includes system leaders and trustees from the public, separate, Francophone, charter, First Nations and Métis education authorities, school leaders, teachers, parents, as well as staff from the Government of Alberta. Additionally elders and community leaders from the First Nations, Métis and Inuit community will be invited and encouraged to attend, as will representatives from advanced education and business & industry.

This is a gathering at which there will be an interchange of ideas. The planning committee is committed to providing an opportunity to learn from each other and develop action orientated plans moving forward to support learning by First Nations, Métis and Inuit students in our province. We hope that this gathering will result in increased understanding, cooperation and trust.
